Obituary of Thomas Louis John McMahon

JEFFERSON - Thomas Louis John McMahon, 39, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017. He was born on September 28, 1978 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Harry McMahon and Becky Brown. Tom married his high school sweetheart Christina (Brazil) McMahon on June 20, 1998, and together they raised two children. He enjoyed working with his hands, and was currently employed by Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation in Jefferson, Ohio. Tom was an avid Cleveland fan, and continued to support the Browns regardless of their record. As a kid he enjoyed playing sports with his brother and friends, and as he progressed into his adult years he liked bowling and arm wrestling. He was left-handed, but also ambidextrous and strong, which gave him the ability to beat just about anybody who challenged him. He was a guy with many interests. One moment you might see him reading Harry Potter, and the next jamming out to some old school Tupac. Tom "went out on the Schwartz" and will be missed for his amazing sense of humor and big heart. He was the protective brother who became the loving and caring dad. He was the guy who you knew would give you the shirt off his back, even if it was the only one he had left. Tom was always looking out for his friends and family, and forever will. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Christina McMahon; son, Damien McMahon; daughter, Hailey McMahon; mother, Becky Brown; brother, Rory McMahon; and the rest of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry McMahon; grandpa, Thomas McMahon; and grandma, Jessie Brown. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday, December 4, 2017 at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
