Obituary of James A. Weagraff

James “Jimmy” A. Weagraff, 66, of Geneva, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Pine Grove Nursing Home. He was born July 23, 1951 in Ashtabula the son of the late Norman and Mildred Weagraff and was an area resident most of his life. Jimmy worked for many years at AshCraft Industries in Kingsville, Greenlight Workforce in Ashtabula and most recently at CLW in Geneva. Jimmy enjoyed living and being part of the New Avenues to Independence Family. He liked to bowl, socialize, ride his bike, and woodwork. Most of all, he LOVED music and spending time with his family. Mr. Weagraff is survived by his sister, Sandra Roberts; nieces, Melissa (Jose), Adrianna, Tatiana, Alayna, and Jasmine. He was preceded in death by his half-sisters, Betty Lou Reynolds, and Anna May Barnum; and his parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula with his cousin Pastor John Stevenson of Bethel Worship Center of Uhrichsville, Ohio officiating. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11 am until the time of service at 1PM. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the family.
