ASHTABULA - Jeanne M. Gerald, 85, formerly of West 48th Street died Sunday, November 25, 2001 at Austinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born February 29, 1916 in Harvey, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Beatty) McClanning and has been an area resident most of her life.
She graduated from Park Street High School and Miami University, Oxford.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Gerald was assistant cashier at the NEO National Bank.
She dearly loved animals, especially her dogs Sara and Brandy, and the Cleveland Indians.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Hyslp; her second husband, Frederick Gerald; and her parents.
Besides her guardian, Karyn French of Andover, she leaves no immediate survivors.
A service will be held 1 P.M. Thursday, November 29, 2001 at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula. The Rev. Betsy Schenk, Pastor of the Plymouth United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
No calling hours will be observed.
