Sheffield Twp.-Elizabeth Faye Davis, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born on June 20, 1934 in Painesville the daughter of Ernie and Cecille (Barnard) Kurki. Betty graduated from Ashtabula Harbor High School Class of 1952 and would marry the love of her life, George Thomas Davis on September 20, 1954. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Catholic Church. Betty enjoyed traveling, playing bingo and doing crosswords. Mrs. Davis is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George T. Davis; daughters, Kathryn Romine and Barbara Spencer; and her son-in-law, Dean Bovee. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one daughter, Jeanette Bovee. Calling hours will be held, Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 6PM-8PM at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 10:00A.M. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 3700 State Route 193, Sheffield. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Betty may be given to Bella Care Hospice, 1933 OH-45, Austinburg, Ohio, 44010. www.ducro.com
