David C. Hamm, Jr.
ASHTABULA - David Charles Hamm, Jr., 74, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Carington Park.
The son of David C. and Marian L. (MacCall) Hamm, he was born on August 5, 1936 in Ashtabula.
Jr was a wonderful and talented house painter. He was also employed with Perfection Corporation of Madison for twenty-one years.
Although he had profound speech and hearing problems, he never let it affect his love for watching movies. Walt Disney movies had a special place in his heart. He never tired of watching them.
Jr., was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart. Jr., wanted to leave this world a better place. In keeping with that idea he donated his body to the Case Western Reserve Body Donor Program. He will now give of himself to those students dedicating their lives to the science of medicine.
He is survived by his siblings; June Lewis and Kay Furman both of Ashtabula, Carol (Tony) Roan of Texas, Sarah (Robert ) Williams of North Carolina, Betty Tulino and Robert(Bertie) Hamm both of Florida; many nieces, nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.
Interment will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
