Obituary of James Lutz

James C. Lutz, Jr ASHTABULA- James C. Lutz, Jr. died on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Carington Park where he had been a resident. The son of James C. and Joan F. (Villone) Lutz, Sr. Jim was born on June 23, 1960 on Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Jim was a graduate of John Marshall High School. Jim was employed at PPG for several years. Jim liked watching Cleveland Indians baseball and watching football games. He liked playing Frisbee and seemed to be able catch anything that was thrown in his direction. Jim loved animals, and they were attracted to him because of his caring ways. A kind and thoughtful person, Jim tried to be a point of light to those he met. He always remembered to call on your birthday or special day, and was always quick with a smile. He would by the occasional lottery ticket, waiting for the big win. Jim is survived by his beloved mother, Joan Lutz of Rock Creek; sons, James (Colleen) Lutz and Nicholas Lutz; grandchildren, Emma and Gavin; his sister, Debra (Tom) Vallo of Cleveland; brother, Dale(Jamee) Lutz of West Salem; nieces and nephews, Lisa, Colleen, Alex, and Max; his beloved dog, Pedro who now lives with mother, Joan. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 31, 2016 in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Carpenter Road, Ashtabula, Ohio. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
