Obituary of Danny R. Jones

Danny Ray Jones, 43, of Station Avenue passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home. He was born September 9, 1974 in Beckley, WV, the son of Jerry and Gloria (Fox) Jones and had been an Ashtabula resident most of his life after moving here with his family from West Virginia. Danny attended Harbor High School and worked 20 years as a carpet installer for Carpet Mart of Ashtabula. He was a big fan of Superman and the Oakland Raiders and enjoyed music, playing video games, and spending time with his children and his brother Karl. His survivors include his parents, Jerry and Gloria Jones of Ashtabula; his children, Devin Jones and Jesse Jones of Pierpont, Andrew Pullman of Ashtabula, and Victoria Pullman of FL; the mother of his children, Polly Jones; 1 granddaughter, Annalyse; two brothers, Jerry “J.R.” (wife Patty) Jones, Jr. of Macedonia and Karl Jones of Ashtabula; several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; and his K-9 companion, Conan. A calling hour will be from 6-7 with a service at 7 PM on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, Ashtabula. Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor will officiate. The family suggests you wear your favorite Superman attire to the services as a tribute to Danny.
