JEFFERSON – Wayne Prinkey, 87, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018. He was born on April 25, 1930 in Normalville, PA, the son of Nelson and Jenny (Stillwagon) Prinkey. Wayne was a hard working man, and worked at RMI for 26 years. Throughout his time at the company he worked as a tow motor driver, as well as a trainer for new employees. He enjoyed hard labor and working with his hands, and thus loved construction and building houses. In his down time Wayne liked watching t.v. and listening to music, as well as spending time with his family. He leaves behind his beloved children, Wayne Prinkey, Jr., Peggy (James) Blevins, and Richard Prinkey; brothers, John and Robert Prinkey; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Prinkey in 2001; his parents; and multiple siblings. A service will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Chapel, 3140 E Center St, Conneaut, OH 44030. John Shelott, Lead Pastor of Heritage Christian Church in Falmouth, Massachusetts and grandson of Mr. Prinkey will officiate. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum, North Kingsville.
