Obituary of Alleen Suplinski

Alleen Suplinski ASHTABULA – Alleen Suplinski, 72, died on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her home, surrounded in love by her family. The daughter of Charles and Oma (Tackett) Hall, Alleen was born in McDowell, Kentucky on July 5, 1945. Alleen was employed with Grand Senora Manor for several years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed working with the residents and felt as though they were family. Alleen enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles,and finding good deals at garage sales; but,her greatest enjoyment came from her family. Alleen was a wonderful cook and it showed when everyone was gathered in her home. She was always glad when her house was full of love and laughter from her family. Nothing made her happier than the time spent with her grandchildren; her love for them was unconditional. She celebrated their accomplishments and would tell anyone that she had the best grandchildren. Alleen will be remembered for her sense of humor, her courage through adversity and her love of family. Alleen is survived by her children, Jennifer (Gary) Hines of Ashtabula, Jeffrey(Beverly) Elliott of Northfield, Michael (Claire) Elliott of Austinburg, Jamie (Bryon "Bumper" )Woissol also of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Tyler, Joseph, Kevin, John, Kayla, Morgan, Adrienne, Bryan, Zak, Kristen, and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Bella; sister, WilladeanWhited; brothers, Bud (Pete) Hall, Marvin(Stacey) Hall; sister-in-law, Madeline Hall; many loving nieces and nephews. Alleen was preceded in death by her son, Steven Elliott;daughter, Christina Mason; her husband, Larry Suplinski; her parents and former husband, James Mason. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Zaback-Williams- Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio. Calling Hours will be observed from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home.
