Ashtabula- Charlene D. Smith, 43, lifelong resident of Ashtabula died unexpectedly after a short illness on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Ashtabula County Medical Center.

 

She was born on August 1, 1974 in Ashtabula the daughter of Kathryn (DiBell) Smith and the late Charles Smith. Charlene attended Ashtabula High School. She was employed previously with Wal Mart in Ashtabula.

 

Charlene is the beloved daughter of, Kathryn Smith; proud mother of, Bryanna Grayer and Joel (Myria) Sidley; dear grandmother to, Sophia, Alayah, Lydeeah and Joel; beloved sister to Regina (Scott) Markwell, Charles Smith and Anton Smith; special friend of Jackie Saunders; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends that are left to cherish her memories.

 

She was preceded in death by her father.

 

Funeral services will be Monday, March 5, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, with calling hours on Monday from 2PM until time of services at 4PM. Bring a dish to share following the services at the Zaback reception room.

 

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
