Obituary of Dewey Franklin Garrett Seymour

Dewey Franklin Garrett Seymour, 32, passed away peacefully at Saybrook Landing on March 3, 2018 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Juvenile Huntington's Disease. Dewey was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 26, 1985, the son of Maxwell and Karen (Cross) Seymour. Dewey went to elementary school at Homer Nash Kimball in Madison, and went to Junior High and High School at Liverpool High School in Syracuse, New York where he graduated in 2003. He enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and always had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Dewey is survived by his parents, Max and Karen Seymour of Ashtabula; siblings, Max (Christy) Seymour, and Sandy Seymour of Ashtabula and Lyndsay (Michael) Roy of St. Louis, MO; grandmother, Margaret Cross of Venice. FL; nieces and nephews, Blaise Beach, Paige Beach, Chloé Roy, Macy Seymour, Maxie Seymour, Tegan Roy, and Mia Roy; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 4PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio with Rev. Kelly Irish of St. Ann's Church officiating. A Celebration of Dewey's Life will also be held on August 4, 2018.
