William "Bill" Patrick Mackay, 72, of North Kingsville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on March 27, 2018. He was born November 9, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Donna Marie Mackay. Bill was a faithful Army Veteran serving our country during the Vietnam Era. Bill was a "Jack of All Trades", during his lifetime he primarily worked as a mechanic and often enjoyed Carpentry work, weather it was for work or just helping friends or family. He also enjoyed fishing, animals, music, motorcycles, being out in nature, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Bill is survived by his siblings, Patricia Apidone, Nelda (Michael) Harden, Dane (Loretta) Groover, and Nina Groover; sister-in-law, Cindy Burcham; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Mackay, and Robert Burcham; and his parents. A Graveside service at the Mausoleum Chapel of Greenlawn Memory Gardens will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Should friends desire memorial contributions in his name maybe made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004 or The APL, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
