Obituary of Michael R. Camplese

Ashtabula- Michael R. Camplese, 47, lifelong resident of Ashtabula passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 12, 1971 in Ashtabula the son of Ella (Scribner) Camplese and the late Anthony Camplese.

Michael graduated from Harbor High School Class of 1989 and was a longtime employee of Northeast Box. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parrish and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mike was a “semi-pro” bowler and bowled several 300 games. He loved gaming on the computer, Star Wars, Indian Jones and had been a Steelers fan all his life.

Michael is survived by his two beautiful daughters, Marie and Marissa Camplese; his mother, Ella Camplese; sister, Toni (James) Whalen; brothers, Mark Camplese, John (Patricia) Camplese and Charles (Shannon) Camplese; mother of his children and friend, Mary Camplese; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Camplese; and his great-niece, Rylie Parco.

Calling hours will be held, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, where funeral services will be held, Thursday at 11:30AM with Rev. Fr. Raymond Thomas, officiating. Burial of ashes will be held Friday at 11:00A.M. at St. Joseph Cemetery.
