Ashtabula- Fannie Mae Mack, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Carrington Park. She was born on August 2, 1923 in Huntsville, Alabama the daughter of Ella (Hamilton) and Thomas Beasley. Fannie moved to Ashtabula in 1963. She loved children and cooking, and everyone praised her cornbread and biscuits. Fannie was a proud and faithful member of People's Baptist Church. Mrs. Mack was preceded in death by her husband, James "Cactus Jack" Mack in 2013; siblings, Ella Thompson, Robert Douglas, Roosevelt Beasley, Emily Anderson and Lloyd Douglas. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM at People's Baptist Church, 3837 West Ave., Ashtabula, with Rev. German Womack, officiating. Calling hour will be held on Friday at the church from 10AM until time of services at 11AM. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Should friends desire memorials in memory of Fannie may be given to People's Baptist Church. Ducro Funeral Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., in charge of arrangements. www.ducro.com.
