Melfa Jean Mosley, 80, of North Kingsville, passed away peacefully stepping from earth into eternity on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home. She was born October 17, 1937 in McDowell, Kentucky the daughter of the late Corbett and Vangie (Osborne) Howell. Melfa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She retired from Premix Corp. in 2001 after 34 years of service to the company. Melfa is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edgel; daughter, Teresa (Robert) Arnold; granddaughter, Kristen (Gary) Groetz; great-grandchildren, Addison and Gage Groetz; sisters, Linda (Herl) Stumbo, Vernice (Bob) Smith, Faye (Red) McKenzie, Joyce (Terry) Murphy, Selma (Donald) Sparks; brothers, Dick (Vel) Howell and Ernie (Billie) Howell. She was preceded in death by her son, Rondel; parents, Corbett and Vangie Howell, sister, Ivelene Tackett; and brothers, Edward and Vernon Howell. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 1PM at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11AM until the time of services at 1PM at the funeral home. Ducro Funeral Services, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, is handling arrangements.
