Obituary of Delmar S. Wolford

Ashtabula- Delmar S. Wolford, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the hospice unit of Ashtabula County Medical Center.

He was born on June 20, 1941 in Job, West Virginia the son of Ira D. and Eva Mae (Rexrode) Wolford. Delmar married the love of his life, Judy A. Herron on August 29, 1961 in Ashtabula. He retired after 38 years at MFG as a mix man. Delmar was a longtime member of the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God.

He enjoyed golfing, hunting and listening to bluegrass and country music. Delmar treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy A. Wolford; children, Max (Leeann) Wolford, Pam Wolford and Robert (Tami) Wolford; grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan (Justice), Zane and Morgan Lyle, Brandon and Jordan Into, Kaylee Van Loocke, Kristi and Katelyn Cellitti and Triana and Kylee Wolford and Emma Teston; seven great-grandchildren; and his sister, Versie Smith.

Delmar was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pansy Hedrick; grandson, Trenton S. Wolford; and his brother-in-law, Buck Smith.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, May 27, 2018 from4PM-6PM at the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God, 2221 Cook Rd., Ashtabula, where funeral services will follow at 6PM, with Pastor Kenny Roberts, officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 3140 E. Center Rd. North Kingsville, will be held Tuesday, May 29 at 11AM.

Should friends desire, memorials in memory of Delmar may be given to the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God. Envelopes will be available at the church.
