Patricia A. Lawrence CLEVELAND - Patricia Anne Lawrence, 58, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic with her loving family at her side. Patricia is the daughter of Thomas I. and Kathleen (Brah) Brown was born on May 6, 1960 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Patricia is a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and was very active in mission work and the Relief Society. For seventeen years Pat was employed as the Associate Director of the Child Care Facility at Kelly Air Force Base San Antonio, Texas. Her love and dedication to the children she cared for was amazing; she loved them all and they loved her. On July 17, 1999, Patricia married Glen Lawrence and they created a loving home together. Their journey of love was filled with wonderful experiences bringing them closer together. Patricia was a woman of many talents and interests. She painted sets at the Ashtabula Art Center; she designed the carriage for the production of Cinderella, she created many lovely pieces of beaded artwork and she loved to sing. Being the child of career military parents, Patricia developed a love of travel, you did not have to ask twice if she was ready for a road trip; she was always ready. An advocate for persons with special needs, Patricia was a voice for those whom she felt were not being heard. Always involved in the activities of her children at school, she was a familiar and welcomed face in the Ashtabula School District. Patricia could be counted on to help where ever needed. Patricia was in love with her family and they loved her, also. She was so giving to those she met; sometimes giving so much of herself to others she neglected her own needs. Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Glen Lawrence of Ashtabula; sons, Ryan (Mindy) Rivera of Painesville and Michael Lawrence of Ashtabula; sisters, Nancy Brown of San Antonio, Texas and Kari(Ron) Van Horn of Lawton, Oklahoma; and nieces.
