Terry J. Dennison

ASHTABULA – Terry James Dennison, 68, of West Prospect Road passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his home.

Born June 24, 1949 in Marion, Ohio he was the son of Edgar Lee and Laura (Barber) Dennison. Terry graduated from Harbor High School Class of 1967, and had remained a lifelong Ashtabula resident

Terry worked in the maintenance department at True Temper for many years, and helped operate the Dairy Queen on the West side his parents owned.

Always proud of his property and his community, he was regularly seen on his golf cart around the West Side Dairy Queen picking up litter and keeping his property neat and tidy. He was a muscle car enthusiast, but really loved his Shelby Mustang's. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and his grandsons.

His survivors include two daughters, Laura (Adam) Simons and Kelly (John Carbon) Dennison, both of Ashtabula; one brother, Jeffrey Dennison; two grandsons, Aiden Simons and John Carbon; as well as two nephews and a niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Kathy Dennison.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 at 1PM at the ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula with Steve Sargent, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, North Kingsville. Calling hours will be on Monday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM
