Ashtabula- Joshua Vail, Sr., 33, died Saturday, June 16, 2018.

 

He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 28, 1984 the son of Kristina Vail. Josh had worked for the past year at the Ashtabula Home Depot.

 

He enjoyed building things and made a very cool gas powered bicycle. Josh enjoyed doing tattoos and considered himself a “professional scratcher.” He was also a proud recovering addict. Josh loved being a dad, loved his children and spending time with them. He touched many lives and will be forever missed.

 

Josh is survived by his wife, Justina (Richards) Vail; mother, Kristina Vail; children, Juliet, Joshua, Jr., Jacob, Jada, Joliene, Jasmine, Justina “Wilma” Vail; best friend, Rob Day; sisters-in-recovery, Trish Salsgiver and Janelle Warren; and close friend, Will.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis X. and Wilma Vail.

 

Funeral services will be held, Monday, June 25, 2018 at 4:00PM at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd. A calling hour will be held on Monday from 3PM until time of service at 4PM.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the family in care of the funeral home. Envelopes will be available.
