Obituary of Rosalind Vee Cruz

Rosalind Vee Cruz, 73, of Ashtabula passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.

She was born December 16, 1944 in Buchanan, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Glen Allen and Mabel Rosalee (Cochran) Cochran. Vee married the love of her life Santiago Cruz on December 19, 1973.

Vee worked as a nurse’s aide for many years. She worked at many facilities but last worked at Inn-Conn Nursing Home in Conneaut. Vee was a wonderful cook and loved to cook for her family and friends. If you left her house hungry it was your own fault. She was a kind woman who loved everyone especially her nieces and nephews. She was a beautiful woman who was full of life.

Vee is survived by her husband Santiago “Sam” Cruz; her two birds; brothers, Lynn Hamilton (Joan) Cochran and Henry Burton (Linda) Cochran; and sister, Brenda Kay Cochran; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Gary Lee and Larry Glen Cochran; sister, Cordella Mae Hall; and her parents.
