Obituary of Dale S. Dobos

Dale S. Dobos, 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 23, 2018.

He was born November 25, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Albert Stephen and Dorothy Louise (Bartsche) Dobos. Dale graduated from Harbor High School Class of 1967. Dale married Ann “Francell” Petros on March 29, 1991. He worked as a meter reading supervisor for CEI retiring in 1999 after 30 years of service to the company. After retirement from CEI, he worked in automobile sales, rentals at Albert’s Auto, Rent-A-Wreck, and Penske Trucks.

Dale was a muscle car enthusiast, and an avid Brown’s Fan who loved to collect Brown’s and NFL memorabilia for his Man Cave. He was a talented bowler in the 1970’s winning in many local and national tournaments and acquired the nick name “Zinger”.  In his younger years he played baseball and softball for many area teams, he loved fishing when he had time. He always loved animals especially dogs, and being the problem solver of the family. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Dale is survived by his wife Francell; children, Bryan Dobos, Brock Dobos, Christopher (Tracey) McNeil, Ben (Ashley) McNeil, and Justin “Captain” (Stephanie) McNeil; brother, Robert Dobos; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

At his request no services will be held, cremation will take place.
