Raymond Jemison

ASHTABULA – Raymond Jemison, 54, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 25 2018.

Ray was born on April 13, 1964 and was the eldest son of Sheila Jemison.

Ray was a 1982 graduate of Harbor High School, excelling in football and basketball.

Ray was a natural born leader and loved to sell. He had a passion for making cars look beautiful and was the owner operator of McCain’s Custom Window Tint and Detailing. He was previously employed with Molded Fiberglass.

Ray is survived by the love of his life for thirty years, Marie DeGeorge, whom he enjoyed spending time with at home, cooking, singing, and always playing jokes on one another.

Survivors include his mother, Sheila Jemison of Ashtabula; his son, Michael Ray Jemison of Solon; brother, Menford Jemison of Ashtabula; sister, Carletta Jemison of Cleveland; several aunts and uncles; including his Aunt Harriet and Uncle Harry McCain of Miami, FL; grandfather, Reverend Thomas McCain , also of Ashtabula; several nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his grandmother, Harriett McCain and great-grandmother’s, Mary Ann Wright and Luella Cooper; uncles, Danny and Donnie Cooper.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2221 Cook Road, Ashtabula, Ohio. His grandfather, Rev. Thomas McCain will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 3140 East Center Street,  North Kingsville, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 10:00AM until time of service at Noon on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the church.
