Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Coy

Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Coy, 66, of Ashtabula passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

Liz was born December 3, 1951 in Ashtabula, the daughter of the late Alfred and Iris (Brockhurst) Coy. She graduated from Ashtabula High School Class of 1970 and remained a lifelong area resident. Liz worked as a cook at Garfield's in Ashtabula for over 30 years.

Liz was a member of the First Church of God. She was a loving and kind spirited person who would do anything for anyone. She was a people person who loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her aunt, Mary Coy; close cousins, Belinda, Julie, Mary Lou, Beverly,Barbara, Susan and Stephen; close friends, Sandy, Debbie, Gail, and Mary Lee, as well as numerous other family members and friends, too many to mention; and special "grandson" Tegan who was the light of her life.

Liz was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert in 2016.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the First Community Church of God, 1910 S. Ridge W., Ashtabula, Ohio with Pastor Hal Morgan, officiating.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 23, 2018 at 10AM at Maple Grove Cemetery, corner of Plymouth Ridge Rd. and State Rd., Plymouth Twp., Ohio.
