Obituary of Mary Madonna Fuller
Mary Madonna Fuller, 97, of Villa at the Lake, Conneaut, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at University Hospital Conneaut Medical Center.
She was born March 3, 1921 in Kingsville Township, the daughter of the late Angelo and Anna (Danielovich) Rocco and had been a lifelong Ashtabula resident. A 1939 graduate of Kingsville high School, she married the love of her life Raymond A. Fuller on September 6, 1941 at Mt. Carmel Church, Ashtabula and they celebrated nearly 72 years of marriage and eleven children together.
Mary was a longtime member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, St. Joseph Church. She especially enjoyed visits with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing, pinochle, cinch, and dominoes with her friends and family at the Villa at the Lake. Mary was an avid Ohio Sports Fan, always enjoying watching the CAVS, Indians, and especially The Ohio State University. She was also a fabulous cook and enjoyed baking sweet treats for her family.
Her survivors include ten children, David (Lynda) Fuller of Canfield, Paul (Jennie) Fuller of Ashtabula, Mark (Sharyn) Fuller of Canton, Rosemary (Yvonne Fayard) Fuller of Youngstown, Peter (Cheryl) Fuller of Orange, John (Lisa) Fuller of Grover, MO, Daniel Fuller of Ashtabula, Matthew (Jeanette) Fuller of Mentor, Jeanne (Randall) Blome of Dayton, Ore., and Amy (Sonny) Hamizadeh of Maumee, Ohio; sister, Alma Glass of Columbus; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 2013; her daughter, Mary Ann Verostek; one granddaughter, Angela Fuller; her parents; sister, Marian Dorothy Rocco; and three brothers, Donald Anthony Rocco, Raymond Robert Rocco, and Eugene Angel Rocco.
The family would especially like to thank her friends and staff at the Villa at the Lake and Conneaut Medical Center, for their wonderful care and companionship.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 1PM at Our Lady of Peace, Mount Carmel Church, 1200 E. 21st St., Ashtabula with Rev. Father David Bridling, presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, in Plymouth Township.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 11AM to 12:30 PM at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio.
