Beniamino Fonte

CONNEAUT-Benimino Fonte, 81, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018.

Private graveside services were held Friday, August 17,, 2018 at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio for Beniamino “Ben” Fonte, who passed away peacefully Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his home.

Ben was born August 25, 1936 in Youngstown, OH, a son of Samuel and Violet (Tiberio) Fond.

He was an avid fisherman, who spent many hours on Lake Erie.

Ben leaves a daughter, Lisa Gilmour, along with a granddaughter and great granddaughter, all of California; as well as a sister in law, Rosalie Fond, a niece, Vivian (David) Wagner, a nephew, Vincent (Renee) Fond Jr., and many great nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Renee, and Brothers Vincent Sr., Salvador, Adam, and Nino.

The Fond family would like to thank Joe & Betty Joswick for their help, support and friendship.

Any donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Arrangements were handled by Durco Funeral Services in Ashtabula, Ohio.
