Obituary of Marie Renee DeGeorge

ASHTABULA- Marie Renee DeGeorge, 49, passed unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 joining her beloved companion, Ray Jemison.

Marie is the daughter of Ronald and Suzanne (Gaskell) DeGeorge; she was born in Ashtabula on August 10, 1969. Marie was a graduate of St. John High School class of 1987.

Marie was employed as an Account Executive with the PUR Cosmetic Company representing the Ohio and Kentucky region. Marie had an “impeccable work ethic” and her PUR family will miss her deeply. She was the consummate employee; she treated everyone with care and compassion.

Marie was a woman of many talents and interests.  She enjoyed cooking Italian dishes, and taking long walks through her neighborhood. She was a natural born leader, loved to sell cosmetics, and was recognized for achievements in Sales Excellence. She had a passion for making people beautiful and took great pride in her artistic abilities

Marie will be remembered for her love of family, work family and friends, devotion to her profession, and her bright and beautiful smile.

Marie is survived by her mother, Suzanne DeGeorge of Ashtabula; sister, Gina (Derrick) Nicholson ; brother, Michael (Rebecca Brewer) DeGeorge both of Canton; niece, Brittany DeGeorge-Hull of Canton; nephew, Ashton Corbin of Ashtabula; great nieces, Gabriella Wright and Amiyah Bolds; great-nephew, Vincent Thomas, III; her many associates and friends .

Marie was preceded in death by her beloved companion of thirty years, Raymond Jemison, on June 25, 2018; and her father, Ronald DeGeorge.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Church, Mt Carmel Church, Ashtabula, Ohio.  Rev. David Bridling will preside. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 5PM until 7PM on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio.
