MAYFIELD HEIGHTS- Rodney Johnson, 55, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Hillcrest hospital.

The son of Hatler and Dolores (Hall) Johnson, Rodney was born on October 8, 1962 in Ashtabula and had remained a lifelong area resident.

Rodney was of the Baptist faith.

Rodney was employed with Top Seat Supply and he enjoyed his job and those with whom he worked.

Rodney was a man of many talents and interests. A day of fishing alone or with friends was a great day! A wonderful cook, he would feed anyone who came to his home, he was generous with his time and talents. Rodney like working on cars and trucks, he could fix most anything, if not he could find information on U Tube.

Rodney had a generous heart and helpful spirit. He will be remembered for his love of his children and grandchildren, his work ethic, his wacky sense of humor and his great love of friends and family.

Rodney is survived by his children, Kenneth James (Arminda Norris )Tuttle, Jonathon Michael (Vanessa McCarty) Johnson, Patricia Ann (James) Hubbard, Rodney Eugene Johnson, Rodney (Emily )Dionese, and Gifen Ron Johnson; twenty-one  beloved grandchildren; Significant Other, Melissa Tuttle, siblings, Edna (Hargis) Hall, Lester  Johnson, Thelma Paul, Wilma Cole, and  Edgar Johnson; many loving nieces and nephews. His canine companions, Buddy and Rowdy

Rodney was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Johnson, brother, Hatler Johnson, Jr.; his parents, his wife Rhonda Dionese; brother-in-law, Dean Cole.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30PM on Thursday, September 27, 2018; at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 3140 East Center Street, North Kingsville, Ohio. With burial to follow.

Calling hours will be held from 12:30PM until time of service at 1:30PM on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
