Obituary of Robert J. Sergeff

Robert J. Sergeff, 78, died on October 2, 2018 in the Hospice unit of Ashtabula County Medical Center.

He was born on May 4, 1940, in Ashtabula, to George and Eloise (Jackson) Sergeff.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany for four years. Bob was a tool and die maker by trade and had worked at numerous locations. He was a member of the Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club. He enjoyed gun smithing, and the outdoors, especially hunting for big game.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Edward and Dennis Sergeff.

Bob is survived by his wife, Darlene (Lower), whom he married on Sept. 28, 1963. He is also survived by daughters, Robin (Terry) Osburn, Sergeff "Penny" (Mike Weaver)Suomi; son, Mike (Beth) Sergeff; grandchildren, Amanda Osburn, Nicole (Casey) Cleveland, Michael, Jillian and Maggie Sergeff; sisters, Phyllis Schoville and Barbara Spencer; and 6 great grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
