Obituary of Giovanni L. Miller, Sr., Anastasia Smith, & Giovanni L. Miller, Jr. .

Giovanni Lee Miller, Sr., 18, Anastasia Nichole Smith, 19, and their son Giovanni Lee Miller, Jr., 22 months, all tragically died together in an automobile accident Friday, October 19, 2018.

Giovanni, Sr. was born March 15, 2000 in Ashtabula the son of Brett Miller and Rosa Pagan Cosme. Giovanni was a great father to his son. He was extremely patient with him and enjoyed spending time with him. He also was handy working on cars and enjoyed working out. He loved animals and playing video games especially FORTNITE. To his sister he was the best photographer that ever existed. He enjoyed spending time with his family and joking around.

Anastasia was born February 20, 1999 in Ashtabula the daughter of Nichole Hommes. She attended Lakeside High School and A-Tech. She was currently working as an STNA at Austinburg Rehab. In school she sang in the choir and also enjoyed being in plays at Harbor Play House and the Ashtabula Art Center. She had a huge heart for animals. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Giovanni, Jr. was born December 14, 2016 in Ashtabula the son of Giovanni Lee Miller, Sr., and Anastasia Smith with who he passed away with. In his short time here on earth he brought much joy to his family. He enjoyed playing in water, bouncy balls, little Tyke cars and playing with other kids.

Giovanni, Sr. is survived by his parents; sister, Yaritza (Antonio) Sanabria; brother, Jose Rivera and maternal grandma, Elvira Cosme. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Rivera.

Anastasia is survived by her mother, Nichole (Benjamin Tressler) Hommes; siblings, Cyrena, Christian, De’Anthony, Nivaeh, Marcus, Benjamin, Liam, Lydia, Taylor, and Mason; and maternal grandparents, Mike and Michelle Hommes and Debbie Boyd-Tressler. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Nick Tressler; great-grandparents, Danny and JoAnn Hommes; and cousin, Ryan Stillman.

Giovanni, Jr. is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Brett Miller and Rosa Pagan Cosme; maternal grandmother, Nichole (Benjamin Tressler) Hommes; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 from 3-7PM at the Gateway Church, 2300 Austinburg Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11AM at Gateway Church. Burial will follow at S. Denmark Cemetery.
