Obituary of Mary Jo Donathan

Mary Jo Donathan passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

A life-long Ashtabula County resident, Mary Jo was born May 12, 1963, the daughter of John Henry and Margie Thelma (Martin) Donathan.

Mary Jo loved nothing more than spending time with her FAMILY. She was known as the "go to for advice." Going for a ride on the trike brought her great joy as well. In her spare time, Mary Jo loved visiting the casino, gardening, soap operas, and of course on Sundays watching the Cleveland Browns.

Mary Jo is survived by her long-time companion or as she called him, her "ZZ Top," Mark Spangler; her children, Tonya Lane and Jesse (Mary) Spangler; her siblings, John Wayne, Hattie May, Kenneth Lee and Thelma; her grandchildren, Bailey, Remington, Brently, and Ally; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and so many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Hershal, Goldie Jean, Danny Lee and Abby; brother-in-law, Donnie Hills; and nephew, Eric.

Visitation will be held on November 19, 2018, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Ducro Funeral Home 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004. A private graveside service will be held at a later time. Online obituary and condolences at www.ducro.com
