Obituary of Marie Christman

Marie Christman March 22, 1938 Dixon, MO.- November 12, 2018 Ashtabula, OH. She passed away peacefully at home where she wanted to be at 2:07am. With family and friends by her side. As well as Hospice of the Western Reserve and her private staff whom she loved very much. Marie was a home maker and she did a wonderful job you could not ask for better. She loved to do crafts and design and build her doll houses. When she was not doing for her family. She was also big into her gardens and her plants she had a green thumb. She liked to cook a home cooked meal everyday. Marie is survived by her husband Charles Elsworth Christman the love of her life whom she married on October, 20, 1962. Three children Barbara Jean Christman of Geneva, OH, John James (Becky Settles) Christman of Ashtabula, OH and Paul William (Johnathon Conrad) Christman of Geneva, OH; two sisters, Deanna and (late Harvey) Sheldon of Waynesville, MO. and Murrel "aka Tootsi" Warner of Bowlingreen, MO. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Velma M. Jones Green 1879-1935 and Wesley William Green 1901-1960; Her maternal grandparents, Dessie (Payne)1884-1941 and Charles Jones 1879-1935; paternal grandparents, Jessie Hunt 1881-1945 and William W. Green 1869-1934; three sisters, Ramah V. and (Joe) Turk of Asheville NC, Claudine A (Robert l.) Davis of Rolla, MO, Dessie "Dee Dee" (Maj E. "Rick") Richards of Fayetville NC; three brothers, Claude W. (Donna) Green, Charles Wayne Green, and Melvin Green. We wanted to send a special thank you out to all the staff at Hospice of The Western Reserve for all that you do. A little extra thank you to Lynn, LaDena, Robert, Heidi, Carol, Donna and Dr. Dan. Also, a Special thank you to all the staff we`ve had to make it possible to keep them home. Thank you Wendy Hortez, Beth Hutchinson, Nathan Rembacki and Betty Jo Guthrie you're all amazing and with a heart of Gold. And special thank you, to three very special people that has lit up her world RJ, Mirecille (Princess) and Coy, you three always made her smile. She loves you and considered you her grandbabies. Dear God, please look after our Mother just as she has looked after us, bless her and give her all the happiness she hopes for us to have, and let her feel protected just as i feel protected by the Angel I call MOM.
