Obituary of Thelma Louise Hanna

Thelma L. Hanna ASHTABULA – Thelma Louise Hanna, 67, of West 29th Street passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at home She was born December 17, 1950 in Missouri, the daughter of A.V. Kimble and Louise Bowens and had been an Ashtabula resident since 1968. She married Willie Hanna on September 28, 1968 and together they shared 50 years of marriage. Always a hard worker, she has been employed with Morton Salt, True Temper, Elkem Metals, and Worthington Cylinder over the years. She always put her family first, especially her kids. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, family vacations, and her Sunday trips to Mr. Hero. Her survivors include her husband, Willie Hanna of Ashtabula; two sons, Romel (Cynthia) Hanna and Anthony (Lyn) Hanna, both of Ashtabula; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Collis Green, Freddie Bowens, Ronnie Bowens, and Sherman Bowens; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Willie J. Hanna, Jr. on August 25, 2015; one brother, Willie Mack; two sisters, Kay Bowens and Hattie Mae Mitchem; and her parents. Calling hours will be from 11 AM to 12 Noon followed by a service at 12 Noon on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula. Rev. Steve Sargent, Associate Minister of Hiawatha COGIC, will officiate. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. www.ducro.com
