Obituary of Alice J. Shiner
Pierpont-Alice J. Shiner, 79, of Pierpont, Ohio passed away on Nov. 17, 2018.
She was born on Jan. 31, 1939 to Charles and Reva (Herndon) Kapalin.
Alice was a dedicated social worker, having worked at Community Counseling Center and various nursing homes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jerry Kapalin. She is survived by a niece and nephew; numerous cousins, including David Herndon; as well as her special friends, Jonathan Freeman and Sally Nelson.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 at Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 1071 State Rt. 7 N, Pierpont, Ohio from 12:00-1:00 PM. Graveside services to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Pierpont.
