ASHTABULA – Jared Micah Windler, 41, died unexpectedly in a hunting accident Sunday, November 25, 2018.
He was born on December 9, 1976 in Enid, OK, the son of the Jerry Windler and Barbara (Sousa) Windler and had been an area resident most of his life.
Jared loved to hunt, fish and spend time outdoors. Music was his escape. He was a Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed NASCAR, especially #2 Brad Keselowski.
He is survived by his wife, Mindy (Meaney) Windler, whom he married May 16, 2013; daughters, Autumn Windler and Haley Wolfe; stepsons, Ethan, Gavin and Morgan Bish; his parents, Barbara and Fred English and Jerry Windler; one sister, Jessica Rivera; his beloved dog, Nala; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Private family services will be held.
