Obituary of Charles Kenneth Phillips, Jr.
ASHTABULA- Charles Kenneth Phillips, Jr., 68, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 29, 2018.
The son of Charles K. and Ruth Irene (Schoonover) Phillips. Sr., Charles was born on September 24, 1950 in Painesville, Ohio.
Charles enjoyed fishing and working in his yard. He was a self-employed recycler and enjoyed going from place to place to find metal to recycle. His friends would keep their recycles for him to collect. Charles was proud to have been a friend of Bill W.
Charles is survived by his sister, with whom he lived, Vivian Varner and his brother, Robert “Bob” Phillips; nieces, Peggy Jones, Vivian Turner and Terry Hale; nephews, Mike Pasqualone, Dustin Pasqualone; great nephew, Marcus Weir; brother-in-law, Thomas Turner; uncle, Gary Haynes; and his best friend Wayne Settles
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; step-brothers, Fred and Pete Phillips; uncles, Timmy, Bill, Rick and Scooby Haynes. Private services will be held in the spring.
