Christe Ann Ozimec, 61, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at UH Geauga Medical Center.
She was born March 12, 1957 in Cleveland, the daughter of Daniel and Joan Manchook.
Christe was the heart and soul of her family. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, enjoying church services and activities. Christe kept a worn Daily Bread book under her pillow and had a bible verse on hand for every one of life's problems.
She had compassion and mercy enough to mother many of God's children, while on this earth. Christe reminded us to care for one another often. She was often arranging barbecues, birthday parties, vacations, picnics and holiday dinners for family and friends. Christe found strength in her faith and love of life to accomplish things beyond her physical limitations.
She is survived by her children, Nathan, Sarah and Melanie Ozimec; her mother, Joan; siblings, Victor, Sharon, Gary and Daniel; grandchildren, Tyson and Isaiah.
Christe is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Louis Ozimec; and her father Daniel Manchook.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family in care of Ducro Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Amboy United Methodist Church, 554 W. Main Rd., Conneaut.
