Obituary of Diana Odette Battista

Please share a memory of Diana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Diana Odette (Logan) Battista, 68, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at home. She was born on December 21, 1950 in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She was the only daughter of Lewis and Mary (Nawrocki) Logan. On August 20, 1977 she married her husband of 33 years, Timothy Battista in Kinsman, Ohio. Diana loved spending time with her friends, taking care of her dog Sophie, reading, and sewing in her spare time. She always looked forward to traveling, especially to see her son in Arizona. She worked in retail for many years at the Ashtabula Walmart. She retired in 2015 which allowed her to spend more time with her family and friends. More than anything, Diana will be remembered for devoting all of her time and energy to supporting her sons Sean and Aaron. She was always there for school activities from PTO to watching every cross country and soccer event. On top of being a great mother, Diana was always a loving, caring wife to her husband. She will be missed dearly by her sons, Aaron and Sean Battista; and many loving cousins. Diana was preceded by her husband, Timothy and her grandparents, Frank and Anna Nawrocki. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect, Ashtabula. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Peace Mt. Carmel, 1200 East 21st Street Ashtabula Ohio, Father Raymond Thomas will preside.
