You have my deepest condolences on your loss. The Apostle Paul wrote at 1 Corinthians 15:26 that ‘death is an enemy’. This is so true, because death robs us of friends and loved ones, but we can take comfort in his words recorded in the book of Acts 24:15 “that there is going to be a resurrection”. The Apostle Paul was not only talking about the things he saw but also repeating what the Lord Jesus Christ said as recorded at John 5:28, 29 that there would come a time “when all those in the memorial tomb would hear his voice and come out.” These words can bring us the comfort that we will be reunited with our loved ones in the near future. A future where there is no more pain, suffering or death (Revelation 21:4). This is a promise from Jehovah God (Revelation 22:6).

Right now, when your loss is so fresh, it may be difficult for you to imagine that this pain will ever go away. But in time the blessing of God's unfailing love will soften the hurt you're feeling and bring your heart the peace, comfort and hope that it needs to heal. How? Revelation 21:4 tells us that soon everything that causes us pain, including death, will be gone forever. We also have the hope of our loved ones being resurrected here on earth, as Acts 24:15 tells us. I do hope you find a measure of comfort in this.
Though I did not know your loved one, he sound like a beautiful person. I am touched by your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. JW.org

Words are never adequate in times like these. I will always cherish the happy memories of working with Robert at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio many years ago. He was very intelligent and kind-hearted. Please accept my deepest sympathies. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this sad time. May you find comfort and the strength to cope. 2Corinthians 1:3,4.

Robert and I worked together at UH for a number of years, namely right out of college. He was one of the smartest young men I knew. My prayers are with the family, and especially his daughter Ivy. Although we recently worked in different departments, he talked about Ivy each and every time we would see each other.

I have so many great memories of Bob Essig. We were great friends in high school. I speak for the Edgewood High school class of 1988 ..... He was everybody’s friend. He could make anyone laugh at anytime. He lit up a room when he walked in. He was the best ! He will be missed forever. My thoughts and prayers go out to his whole family...
His daughter Ivy , father , sister , and the whole family. God be with all of you during this difficult time. Forever in our hearts. RIP Robert Rssig
