Joseph Richard Cevera, Sr., 60, of Ashtabula, passed away in his sleep Thursday, March 7, 2019.

He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on May 30, 1958. Joseph was the son of Thomas and Carol (Opat) Cevera,

Joseph delivered newspapers for the Starbeacon for the past three years. In his spare time, he was a homebody. He loved spending time with his cats and dogs. It was his favorite pass time. He also enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Cevera; son Joseph Cevera, Jr.; brother, Jeffery Cevera; brother-in-law, Bill McLaughlin; and his grandchildren.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Thomas and Michael Cevera.

Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, for his family.
