Obituary of Duane Harold McMillion

Duane H. McMillion, 64, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019, at his home.

Duane was born July 28, 1954, in Ashtabula. He was the son of Harold and Shirley (Corlew) McMillion.

Duane was a graduate of Ashtabula High School. Following graduation Duane served his country in the United States Air Force, and the United States National Guard he was stationed in Germany, Texas, and North Dakota.

He attended Texas Community College and Kent State University, Ashtabula branch. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a degree in Human Resources and Computer Data Technology, as well as mechanical engineering and small engine repair. His knowledge earned him top positions at The Perry Nuclear Power Plant and PCC Airfoils . He retired from Ashtabula

County youth detention center as a Juvenile Corrections Officer, where utilized his degrees andbecame a mentor for Ashtabula County’s misguided youth.

In 1979 Duane married Diane (Dunn) McMillion. Mother of Lisa (Vincent) Pasqualone his only child. He has a two grandchildren Ashley Pasqualone and Anthony Pasqualone; one sister, Debra (Kelly) Ayres; and many nieces great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 25, 2019, from 4 to 6 PM at Ducro Funeral Home located at 4524 Elm Ave. Ashtabula, Ohio. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery.
