Obituary of Donald Ray Myers

Donald R. Myers EUCLID - Donald Ray Myers, 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 while a resident of David Simpson House. The son of Donald and Velma (Hunt) Myers, Don was born on December 21 1951 in Ashtabula. Don was a proud veteran of the United States Army. On December 4, 1976, Don and his "Shear Bear" were united in marriage. Their forty- two year marriage of love, laughter and respect gave them a lifetime of memories to cherish. Camping with friends and family made every weekend an adventure! NASCAR, boating and hanging out with his furry friends, AJ and Sunny made every day a good day. A great evening was one spent with friends and family. Don is survived by his much beloved wife, Sherry (Lester) Myers; siblings; Marilyn (Tom) Smith of Texas, James (Phyllis) Myers and Betty (Scott) Favor, Texas; Scott and Linda Lester brother and sister in-law and their children, Sherri, Amanda, and Scotty. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Velma Myers. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the ZABACK-WILLIALMS-DUCRO Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Road Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion, Dewey Howlett Post #103 of Ashtabula, Ohio.
