Nancy Arlene (Gray) Cufr, 77, of Aurora, passed away peacefully, Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Aurora, Ohio.
Nancy was born October 10, 1941 in Ivanhoe, Virginia. She was the daughter of John and Grace (Lyons) Gray.
She was a graduate of Ashtabula High School. Nancy worked as an aid at Carrington Park for 20 years, caring for the residents the way she cared for her own family.
In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed Bake Club, Bingo and a good steak. Anyone who knew her knew not to call at 1 o'clock when Days of our Lives was on. In her early years, she was crafty enough to make a few ceramic pieces.
Nancy will be greatly missed by her daughters, Pam (Jake) Booth of Lexington, Georgia and Cynthia (Brent) Howsmon of Aurora, Ohio; brothers, James (Wanda) Gray of Conneaut, and David Gray of Ashtabula; four grandchildren, Jacob, Jaden, McKenzie and Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Larry Gray.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 5-7P.M. at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect, Ashtabula. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville, Ohio following the funeral service.
