Obituary of Thomas Angus McSkimming

Thomas Angus McSkimming, Jr., 61, of Ashtabula, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at home.

Thomas was born December 4, 1957 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the son of Thomas and Judith (Miller) McSkimming.

He worked at Meese Inc. as a production manager for 26 years. This is where Tom met his best friend, Doug.

In his spare time, Tom enjoyed classic/muscle car and classic rock music. You could say he was a "classic" man who loved spending time with his family more than anything else.

When watching TV, he always chose a good horror movie. Also, he enjoyed watching the San Francisco 49ers and the Cleveland Browns.

Tom will be greatly missed by his wife of 16 years Judy; three children, William McClure, Kristen Derr and Jessica (Juan) Rivera; his father, Thomas McSkimming Sr.; his daughter-in-law, Kimberly McSkimming; best friend, Doug (Carol) Wright; sisters, Lisa (Jeff) Caporaletti, Amy (Steve) Bowers and April (Cary) Dabney; grandchildren, Harley, Brandon, Teddy, Hannah, Antonio, Luca, Kyleigh, Joel, Bindi, Mari, Gabby and Caleb; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Thomas is preceded in death by his mother; his son, Thomas McSkimming, III; brothers, Timothy McSkimming, Edward Price and Robert Price; his sister, Lori Miller; and stepfather, Robert Price.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect, Ashtabula. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon.

Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Plymouth Township.

Shall friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to the American Lung Association, which can be made online.
