Eugene Frasure, age 73, of Jefferson passed away unexpectedly July 29, 2019 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1946 in Frasure Creek, Kentucky the son of the late Earl and Edith (Howell) Frasure, Sr. Gene worked in construction over the years. He was a faithful member of the Pentecostal Church of God. Gene loved horses and was a member of the Quarter horse congress Horseman Club. He was a great story teller and enjoyed camping, family picnics and spending time with his family especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gene is survived by his wife Judith Ann Apgar whom he married June 25, 2011; children, Daniel (Sandi) Frasure and Kimberly (Eric) Richards; step-son, John David Apgar; grandchildren, Anthony Luce, Joshua Frasure, Joseph Luce, Brandon Frasure, Amanda Jones, and Shawna Grennan; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and multiple brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 3PM at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2221 Cook Rd., Ashtabula with Rev. Kenneth Roberts, officiating. Friends may call from 2PM until the time of service at 3PM. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the funeral home to assist another family in their time of need.
