Obituary of Brian Michael Skubovius

Ashtabula- Brian M. Skubovius, 56, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

He was born on February 17, 1963 the son of Larry Nelson and Lois Jean (nee Haendiges) Skubovius.

After graduation from High School he served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, during this time he was a 1983 honor graduate in Electronic Warfare Systems Specialist Course. In addition he received the good conduct medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, as well as the Air Force Small Arms Expert medal.

Brian's appetite for reading lead him to receive an Associate of Applied Science in Electronic Engineering Technology in 1990, along with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from Cleveland State University in 1998, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Brian will be remembered for being a simple, sweet and humble man.

A memorial service celebrating Brian's life will be held, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 6:30PM at the Gateway Church, 2300 Austinburg Rd., Ashtabula with Pastor Daniel Houck, officiating.

Ducro Services and Crematory, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula assisted the family with arrangements.
