Eddie Tackett, 79, of Ashtabula passed away, September 1, 2019 at UH- Case Medical Center in Cleveland.
Born January 25, 1940 in McDowell, Kentucky, he was the son of the late George and Martha (Newsome) Tackett. Eddie married Kay Getce on February 20, 1960. Mr. Tackett worked in precision piping for many years.
He enjoyed socializing and going to the casino, he especially enjoyed playing poker. Eddie enjoyed traveling to Kentucky to visit family.
Eddie is survived by his sons, Eddie Tackett, David Tackett, Michael Tackett; his beloved grandchildren, Joey, Julian, Tricia, Justin, Ashley, and Kristen; siblings, Bonnie Funk, Nanny Snyder, John Tackett, and his twin sister, Addie Stewart; and many great-grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Kay in 2012; sons, Dale and Joey Tackett; granddaughter Erica; siblings, Burt, Thelme, Vernice, and Bernice; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 3140 East Center Street., North Kingsville, Ohio 44068.
Calling hours will be from 12PM until the time of the services at 1PM in the Mausoleum Chapel.
