Obituary of Haleigh Ann Riggleman

AKRON- Haleigh Ann Riggleman, 14, was granted the wings of an angel on Saturday, September 28, 2019 while a patient at Akron Childrens Hospital.

The daughter of Rebecca M. Settles, Haleigh was born on March 20, 2005 in Ashtabula and had remained a life-long area resident. She attended Ashtabula City Schools where she had many friends and was well liked by her teachers.

Haleigh was a young lady of many interests; she was artistic and really liked to paint and draw; she loved babies and young children always wanting to be with them. She would sing and dance and play dress-up, enjoyed going to church and loved her kitties. She loved sports, including swimming and gymnastics, and riding her bike. She had a fondness for unicorns and Barbie dolls. Haleigh’s bubbly personality and bright smile made her the center of attention.

 She is survived by her mother, Rebecca M. Settles; siblings, Topanga Sleight, Raymond Riggleman, Javier Negron and Juliana Negron; grandmother Rebecca A. Settles; great grandmother, Lucy Sleight; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as her close friends and caregivers, Sherry and Tiffany Cline of whom she was very fond of.

Haleigh was preceded in death by her grandfather Jamie Settles.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 7PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral home, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 5PM to time of service at 7PM at the funeral home.
