Obituary of George Anthony Ricaurte

George Anthony Ricaurte, 64, passed away peacefully at Jefferson Health Care on October 14, 2019.

George was born on March 29, 1955 in Quito, Ecuador. He was the son of Jorge and Frances (McManus) Ricaurte.

George loved to travel. He would enjoy visiting anyplace that he could admire the beautiful scenery. He was also an avid Ohio State fan.

Anyone who knew George, knew that he had an excellent memory, often remembering exactly how old you were and how many years you had on him and your phone number.

He also had quite the collection of caps from all over the world. When friends and family would travel, they would always bring a hat back for George.

George is survived by his parents; siblings, Patrick Ricaurte of Columbus, Anne Ricaurte of Conneaut, Mark (Teresa) Ricaurte of Columbus, Christopher (Laurie) Ricaurte of Chicago, IL, Helen Ricaurte of Columbus and Frank  (Basma) Ricaurte of Westlake; nieces and nephews, Frankie, Sophia, Maria, Michael and Anthony.

A memorial service will be held, October 18, 2019 at 11 A.M. at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, 3140 East Center, North Kingsville in the mausoleum chapel where burial will follow.
