Linda M. Nemeth

ASHTABULA- Linda Marie Nemeth, 71, passed away on November 2, 2019 while a patient at Cleveland Clinic.

The daughter of Joseph F. and Agnes (Surbella) Mirch, Linda was born on March 15, 1948 in Ashtabula, Ohio. She was a graduate of Painesville Harvey High School, class of 1966.

Linda worked in retail sales for many years; her last job was as a cashier for K-Mart. She was a people person and will be remembered for her smile.

Linda was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish, Mother of Sorrows.

An avid reader, she liked Danielle Steele novels and romance stories; watching Hallmark movies and shopping on QVC.

Linda’s greatest enjoyment came from being a mom and grandma. She supported and encouraged her children and spoiled her four grandchildren with great amounts of love.

Linda is survived by her children, Michael (Kristie )Nemeth of Madison, Debbie Nemeth of Ashtabula, and Matthew Nemeth of Arizona; grandchildren, Amanda (Fiancé` Steven), Elizabeth, Lindsey and Jack; siblings, Mary (Sherman) Pierce of Ashtabula, Joanne Greenlee of Jefferson, James Mirch of Parma, Joe (Dawn) Mirch of S.C. and loving nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky in infancy and her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Mother of Sorrows Church, 1464 West 6th Street, Ashtabula, Ohio. Reverend  David Bridling, presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ashtabula, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed from 5PM until 7PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 West Prospect Road, Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004.
