Frances K. Rounds, 73, lifelong area resident passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2019 at UH-Cleveland after a brief illness. She was born on January 14, 1946 in Ashtabula the daughter of Francis T. and Kathryn (Kilty) Cook. Frances graduated from the Ashtabula High School Class of 1964. She married the love of her life, Frederick S. Rounds on March 12, 1965 at 1st Grace Gospel Church in Ashtabula. Frances was a member of Our Lady of Peace and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was employed as a Pharmacy Technician with Walmart, retiring in 2011 after 15 years. Frances loved gardening, planting flowers, especially hosta’s and always grew strawberries. Family was very important to her and loved her grandchildren dearly. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Frederick S. Rounds; daughter, Jodi R. (Keith) Nicholas; son, Donald F. (Lisa) Rounds; grandchildren, Rylei and Liam Nicholas, Alex and Katy Rounds; and Hunter and Mitchel Dobos; her sister, Patricia Hamilton; and her beloved dog, Baxter. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Vickilynn Dobos; and a sister, Anna B. Orr. Friends and family will be received at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 6PM-8PM. Memorials in memory of Frances may be given to the Ashtabula APL, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004.
